Trust & safety
Confidence, built into the plumbing.
Property is the largest payment most people make in a year. Keyvata is designed so that trusting a stranger is not part of the deal.
The four pillars
What is actually checked.
Verified identity
Hosts confirm who they are before a listing is published. Higher-value listings need a higher level.
Protected payment
Money is held until both sides confirm, so a booking is never a leap of faith.
Reviewed listings
Listings are checked before they go live, and re-checked when details change materially.
A written record
Messages, receipts, and agreements stay in your account for both sides to refer to.
Verification
Levels, and what each one unlocks.
Verification is proportionate: browsing asks little, taking someone's rent asks a lot.
Email confirmed
Enough to browse, save searches, and message a host. Not enough to list or receive money.
Phone and identity confirmed
A government ID matched to the account holder. Required before a listing goes live.
Address and ownership evidence
Proof of the right to let or sell the property. Required for yearly rentals and sales.
Stay alert
Signs that something is off.
Most fraud in this market looks the same. If you see any of these, stop and report the listing.
- A host who asks you to pay outside Keyvata, by transfer or cash.
- A price far below everything comparable in the same area.
- Pressure to commit today, or a story about another buyer waiting.
- Refusal to allow an inspection, or only offering a video call.
- Photographs that appear on other listings in other cities.
Never pay outside Keyvata. A payment made by transfer or cash is a payment we cannot hold, trace, or return. Every protection on this page depends on the money moving through the platform.

Identity documents
Held to confirm you are who you say you are, and to meet our obligations. They are not shown to other users — only your verification status is.
Contact details
Your email and phone stay private by default. You choose whether a host or guest can see them once a booking is confirmed.
The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Something looks wrong?
Report a listing or a message and we will look at it. Reports are read by a person, not a filter.
